>>And the ten point drop has nothing to do with IR. Try the "Great Sustiva hype" and the emphasis on side effects of protease inhibitors. The side effects of NNRTI's have been ignored, and there are a lot more dropouts and side effects from NNRTI's than have been acknowledged.<<

You hit the nail on the head Margie...a massive communication problem. Seems to me that's IR. The most recent blunder was creating uncertainty during the conference call regarding the oncology spin-off. Should have waited till they had solid details. If AGPH's problems of late are other then communication, then we're probably all in trouble.

I think this has been discussed before, but didn't we all approve a rather nasty "poison pill" some time ago?? Seemed to me at the time, a hostile bid was out of the question. Guess this would not preclude a friendly offer, but would Peter be interested??

How about a short covering rally on the first piece of non-technically oriented good news? Now to add to the speculation: I have always been suspicious of why Hoffman LaRoche would back away from the cofunding deal for cancer drug candidates. Does not make a lot of sense to me unless they were trying to apply the pressure. If it makes sense to anyone else, would like to hear why.

Margie --- thanks for the history with Bear Sterns. I am still not a believer that their comment and buy rating alone moved this much volume / price in one session. Granted there is nothing else in the wind yet but I am waiting on something additional to follow from another avenue. You have followed this much longer than I but as an old trader it feels like more is on the way.... around 29 - 30 in the next 5 sessions?????

Credit is due, where credit is due. AGPH is displaying signs of a real trooper today. I'm feeling a little more positive based on these signs of strength.
