When TC fell to .22 a share last fall (I bought here) TC still held a load of Telular Corp. shares (there is a thread for this company on SI). At that time, if I remember correctly, if TC went belly-up (not that it will!) TC shareholders would have recieved about 20 cents CAD per share of TC held if TC liquidated Telular Corp shares (trades on NASDQ), based on the market price of Telular Corp at that time. I assumed of course that TC had enough other assets to pay off debt, and that these shares were not encumbered. I do know that they have been slowly selling these shares to raise cash over the years. - So @ 22 cents, I knew it was a good deal (it ralied a bit after this and then slipped back to a new all time low of 20 cents).

The last time I did this excercise, I believe Telular corp was worth about 14 CAD cents per share of TC held. The point is, I like to know my max downside.

Regards,
Larry.
