Three months follow of progressively higher prices and the break past $3. Two months later the stock surges past 4.
Total time from 1 to 4 --> 19 months. Many, many days of multiple million trading volumes. ------------------------------------------- Don -- I don't know AOL's original capitalization. It began as a dollar stock. You are correct in saying that some people wrote it off as a business that couldn't work. But retail customers can't provide the continuous multi-million share volume days that occurred above, so obviously many smart institutional investors recognized from the outset that AOL would be a blockbuster business. Is that our history too?
These two stocks are not mirror images. AOL was a first in its emerging field. FNTN, whose lofty initial share price owed a lot to companies like AOL and investors' hopes that all internet companies would be successful, comes to an emerging field in which there is already competition.
Hopefully we'll carve out a nice niche for ourselves.

P.S. It isn't lost on me at all that after all the other posts today, some of them now flaming me -- in the name of heaven yet! -- that no one besides me yet addresses remarks attributed to FNTN about revenue projections being pushed back..... |
