Thank you for the setup. The verb for impact is "impinge". It's intransitive, so you might use your ruler to impinge upon the eponymous miscreants. I personally think a Casull makes a bolder statement.

Just discovered you; nice escape from the Bill and Monica-focused threads that are so popular these days.

Request: I am manager of a training department, and am looking for good resources (instructors, books, videos, CD ROMs, etc.) for training people on writing skills. I need something(s) beyond basic grammar and such that goes into how to develop and prepare reports, analyses, proposals, etc.

This may be a shot in the dark, but any help you can provide would be great.
