Market Features: Cramer's Yahoo! Chat
Transcript Part I

TSC co-chairman and daily columnist James J. Cramer
chatted Wednesday on Yahoo!. Here is the unedited first
part of that chat. Part II appears in a related Market Feature
item.

lwhorowitz: Hi Jim. This afternoon there was an article on TSC about CSCO vs LU. Do you think one of these companies will win, and the other lose?
Creme_Delacramer: No. I thought that article was not so great. I think that these are the winners and that it is not a zero sum game.
Creme_Delacramer: others will lose, not these guys. I am long them both.

rdtilley: Where is the risk greatest right now: A) Missing the early gains of beaten-down value stocks, or B) Suffering
blow-ups among the high-multiple darlings? i.e. Where are
the earnings surprises coming from in the next few quarters: the bottom or the top?
Creme_Delacramer: I think the earnings surprises are going to come from tech connected with pc.s and the internet
Creme_Delacramer: but i dont see any other earnings surprises happening.

jeffgermain: What is your take on Lucent, will it come back up or suffer from the tech sell off?
Creme_Delacramer: While I am still long Lucent, again this is a stock that I have cut back on as i feel it has too high
Creme_Delacramer: a multiple. this market likes cheap and hates expensive right now with the exception of Cisco and MSFT
