My point is that in the Congressional hearings, Ollie ADMITTED lying to Congress, he ADMITTED violating federal law concerning arms to the Contras, and he ADMITTED misleading the President. And what did it get him? A cushy job as a radio commentator and a near win for a US Senate seat. That's what public opinion can do for you. As for the legal process--what a joke. Ollie and his co-conspirators were sprung by a bunch of conservative federal judges who under normal circumstances screw criminals to the wall. And the poor saps who got stuck with their convictions--they were PARDONED by President Wimp. Oh, what a great rule of law.

As a former Clinton intern (2 summers), I thought I would jump into this for a minute or two. I used to work on policy development the event planning for any annoucement that POTUS made regarding domestic policy. I stand by the policy decisions that we made, and while I don't condone what Clinton himself was doing with Monica, it doesn't change the positive impact that his Administration has had on this country.
