Thanks for your views on Dreifontein.

A flyer about Dreifontein dated July 21st, enclosed with a mailing of Anglogold's Qtr2 report, is entitled "Further cautionary announcement." It outlines the steps for a joint offer of shares by Goldfields and Anglogold to own Dreifontein.

GFSA will unbundle Goldfields shares. Then Goldfields will use the new Goldfields shares for its part of the offer. Anglo American/Anglogold will use inter alia Goldfields shares received from the GFSA unbundling for its part. No mention of exact share equivalency. If the offer is successful, intended Dreifontein ownership will be: Goldfields 60%, Anglogold 40%
