Sorry for your poor experience with my company, wombat. Obviously if this is happening to numerous customers it is one of two signs: 1) Overall shoddy service - which means Gateway is in trouble 2) Poor service due to surging demand exceeding Gateway's current ability to provide supply. I hope the reason the waits (no pun intended) were so long is that Gateway reps were helping other customers and not being unproductive. If this is the case, it is a growing pain which Gateway must resolve as soon as possible so it doesn't become permanent trouble. In any event, this doesn't excuse the loss of your order. If you don't mind me asking, why did you request a rep call you instead of simply placing your order over the Internet? Curious about the reason. Kory

wombat, The GTW management is in Ireland at the minute. So, please excuse the temporary absence of good service. I am not a GTW holder right now. But, I feel compelled to say to any GTW longs.............Watch out for a warning soon. I have no news to back this up. Just gut feelings. If they warn, it will be in the next three weeks of course. In this market...........a warning will totally trounce this stock for at least 2 to 3 months. I mean 30s ............ Good Luck All..... Ps.....Oh, If you do get out, please buy DELL. What you could do is sell GTW now, wait for the warning, which will drag DELL down at least $10, then jump into DELL. Think of it........no more cow smell with DELL, What the hell, sell and buy DELL Have a PalMell.. DWW II
