After that post I had to look out the window just to be sure that the sky had not really fallen. Whether you like Clinton's policies or not, remember he did most of it with the help (or at least the comprimises) of a Republican Congress.

In politics is easy to criticize, Rush and G Gordon Liddy have made careers out of it. It is much harder to come up with realistic policies. Clinton was by no means America's greatest president, but ten years from now most will agree that he affected the course of politics in this country in a positive way.

Bill, I am not sure that Clinton is/was that bad. At least he was willing to do nothing. I am disappointed with him as well as the press. On the eve of the '96 elections, they both agreed that "character doesn't count". They both agreed that we didn't have to worry about Social Security either.
Clinton keeps changing his mind, but that is actually one of his few good qualities. Flexible enough not to tip the boat (our nation) over.
