Jenna: A Dead Cat bounce play from last week looks like it might become a Short term Short Sell. IMSI
IMSI has tried 3 times to break though 8 1/8 to 8 3/8 range and failed. Now IMSI looks like it will try re - testing the 52 week low.
Not sure if it will make it all the way down there but should drop at least to $7.25 range. That would be a nice 9% gain in just a few days of shorting the stock. On Margin a 18% gain.

Despite the late afternoon sell off this rally grew in technical strength.Year 2000 index gave a buy signal. YTK .A couple of more stocks in this index turned bullish. The list updated is AMSY CBR CPWR EDS IMRS KEA MERQ PLAT and SSW .
Opinion based on my reading of the P&F charts.

Then again I could be wrong.

Jenna, after Lycos earnings what do you expect to see from Infoseek in the morning? With the Disney support shouldn't we see a stropng upward move from SEEK? Respectfully submitted, Saulmon

CS First Boston issued a BUY on Level One today.

Have you considered being employed as an analyst?
I have thought about it many times, but it is difficult work. Sometimes things may seem obvious to us, because our views are based on our money being tied into these companies as investments. We are biased that we may not see/understand the negatives. They are paid to make objective decisions based on the facts. Sometimes, I'm sure they have ulterior motives i.e. secondary offerings, keep the company's happy to get more business. That is why few brokers have SELL ratings.

Briefing seems to point out that Thomas Kurlak is right on the fundamentals fairly often re: semiconductor industry, but many semis continue higher. This means for fundamentals we'd look to Kurlak for guidance, but for technicals, we may look at someone else.

Good luck and hope everyone really buys LEVL today and makes it go higher.
