JDN: As a retired CPA (according to your profile) I'm surprised you don't remember that Rule 47443, Section 17, Para 5, a ruling from Bendover vs. Dropem (1985), states that when the market price of a publicly trade equity share goes below zero, owners must contribute additional capital in order to maintain their positions.
