So you really have bought his whole schtick hook, line and sinker, haven't you? The fact is, he STOLE the money, no ifs ands or buts. If safety concerns could be used to justify every single dip in the cookie jar, then we'd all be millionaires. But we're getting off topic here, aren't we? Ollie was never President. The comparison can be made to Ron Reagan who first issued a BLANKET DENIAL that he never knew about the Arms for Hostages Deal and then slowly he backtracked to "don't recall" until he was so befuddled that no one knew what to think. Was that lying? Yes. Was it obstruction of justice? Yep. Did he deserve to get run out of town? Nah. Doughboy.
