LH,
I saw the write up in Money World on UFLY, and it said that they are supposed to use these things on an episode (don't know how many) of "Baywatch". They say it will be a part of the story (LOL...like Baywatch ever HAS a story) and not just background decoration.

The looked really cool. With the Rotax 582 64hp motor, it is compared to a jet ski with wings. It has a cruising speed of 45mph and it requires a takeoff distance of only 200 feet. It says you can fly up to 100 miles on 5 gallons of 2-stroke fuel. It also says that a beginner can learn to fly this with about 10 hours of instruction.

They say this nifty little boat stole the show at the 1997 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and you can pick one up for about 23K.

I was impressed. Here is their web site for more info...
