Charts tell me that CPQ goes to $34+7/8 or $35 even on the intraday low Thursday or Friday. Any comments?

Franz,
Hype will get them to the store, but the decision may not be Apple once they get there. I also hear they are going for first time buyers. Didn't Compaq already do that with the sub zero?

My wife belongs to a sewing circle that uses sewing machines with memory cards to sew designs created on PCs. They have all purchased PCs this past year. They want CDR burners, scanners, and attachments you would not believe. Over half of them will not see sixty again. Of that half most are retired. Some now have expensive towers, and a laptop to take to sewing class. It amazes me who really buys PCs, and who the public thinks buys PCs. They are all hooked on email, and the internet. They have friends they correspond with and trade instant messages with all over the country. The Apple wouldn't take care of these little old ladies, but they will all look at it and talk about it. They just won't buy it. I recommended compaq to all of them. <g>
