I would like to hear a sincere bearish argument against THQ. Clearly there is one considering the high short interest. I am long THQ and this recent slide, following the cancellation of the PP, surprises me.

It looks like nobody wants to buy. The last two rallies that brought the price briefly back over thirty now look like a combination of some minor short-covering and daytrading. The Furman Selz re-it convinced absolutely nobody to buy.

I am curious as to whether or not some investors think that 20 million is too much for (half of) the WWF license. I wonder if there is a reasonable possibility that some of the third quarter releases we are expecting might get delayed or pushed into the fourth quarter.

The past few days do not indicate to me that THQ has been influenced by the overall market sentiment or political fallout or anything else that might make a convenient, acceptable excuse.
