Coug; I don't hate the man, if you can call him that, and I voted for him too. However there is no doubt in my mind if he had one drop of honor in him he would resign. I've been a harsher critic of Star and his tactics than of Clifton, In something like this, "If it were my job" to prosecuting you, I would gather the evidence, and if I did need to call people they would be under a strict gag order until the investigation was complete. Any one who talked to the press would be found in contempt, and the news media would not drag this garbage out in public. If I could make a case I would at least give you the chance to step down before presenting the findings to congress, There would be no public trial before the real one. At this point it's gone to far, there is no ending the insidious party politics, Clinton has made himself in effective, and the harm to the country can not be undone. Did any of them think about how this looks to the rest of the world, and what an bone it gives to our enemies. I don't think they thought of it because I don't think they care about anything or any one other than their own selfish interest. This was shoddy all the way , and on both sides. But hate them no, at times it makes me a little angry, but I deal with that because I can't stand to stay angry. You may not understand that part and I don't want it to sound like I'm high handed about it, but when I do feel anger or hatred it just makes me sick on my stomach and I can't handle it. As for forgiveness that's not my job , it's hurt to many people, and I also know something about forgiveness, and remorse and I can tell you without a doubt Clinton "regrets" what he did, but it's like the regrets a felon has for getting caught, so far there is not even a small part of him that feels any remorse. I will not and can not in good faith accept any kind of apology from him before he resigns. This fessing up to save his job don't cut it with me. Jim
