Sounds like Bill is digging a deeper and deeper hole for himself...the ironic thing is, sounds like the Republicans don't really want to get rid of him, because Gore will get a 2-year running start on the next election and most likely be more difficult to defeat as an incumbent...once the Democrats start realizing this, they may decide they have more to gain than the Republicans from an impeachment. As they say, politics makes for strange bedfellows.

MarkM, Don't know. Depends on too many things. Right now, I think option expiration day might get some help. DNA testing isn't done over night. Soooo, this thing could drag on for some time. I was hoping it was all over. I am sick of the whole mess. It is the media focus and lead story on the news. Finding out who bombed the embassies is not even the lead story. I'm torn between forgiveness and hanging him. Can you imagine the foder he has furnished comics about the highest office in our country. I didn't vote for him because he dodged the draft, and I fought in VN. Felt Veterans still in the service deserved a better Commander. Can you imagine how his daughter feels? She is stuck with this for the rest of her life. He did a stupid, stupid thing. He let one eyed Willie do the thinking for two eyed William. Not only that but I would be fired if I did anything close to what he did. I also have an 18 year old daughter that has followed this mess. I am 54. I wonder if she thinks her father would do such a thing. Shoot! The President did it, my Father probably does it. After all, some jerk told her all the VN Veterans smoked dope in VN. She came home angry at at me for smoking dope, and I never did smoke dope. That jerk is lucky I didn't hunt him down for amusement. What an example for our kids. If for no other reason, he should resign. Maybe he will resign after his vacation. Oops sorry. I tried to keep all my previous comments related to the stock market. I fell victim to the soap box.
