Hello Seppo,
Find a copy of Judy Shelton's book "Money Meltdown"
The Free Press - 1994

Excellant work on todays monetary structures and very high quality of
description of historical events.

It will also introduce Ludwick von Mises's work and Friedrich Hayek's work.
Also look into Milton Friedman...there are many others responsible
for todays experimentations.
Good Night
Chip

Seppo and Thread

Two articles in todays Wall Street Journal are worth the read
20th Aug.....page A14
Judy Shelton...."Russia Needs a New Currency"...all about currency
boards and IMF policies.

Mr. Joesph Yam chief executive of the H.K. Monitary Authority....
He has a description of their intervention in the foreign currency
markets and why it was necessary.
I do not have a link, but here is a short discription.
