Being hewers of wood, and drawers of water, the mining and exploration business is special to Canada. We do have a large country, and a small population, so every encouragement to assist in finding these resources is necessary.

Today there are more people working at Vancouver International Airport than in the entire mining sector in British Columbia. That is a far cry from what it used to be here. If something isn't done to encourage exploration, the northern communities that have depended on natural resources will go into extinction.
