Rand , thanks for making that post. For the longest time, I thought it was just me, and was getting quite concerned about my mental faculties. Good to know that I'm not alone in this quandary ;-)).

Hi Rand,

Thought I would drop a line to some of our Canadian friends..

Any of you fellows up north ever hear of an operation near Franklin Lake called Cuddeback Lake..Couple of fellows in Grapevine, Texas
have been offering 125k for a 50k investment, monies to be paid in
45 days...investment supposed to be backed up by a financial institution in Gibraltar (sp?)...The name of the company in Grapevine
is call Financial Partners....the money to pay for this high yield investment was to come from a mining operation run by a fellow named Hewlett....trouble is fellow I know put in the money last August
and is still waiting..Hewlett's operation apparently never materialized and the financial outfit who was doing the bonding never came up with any money either...fellow found out his money was deposited
with a Dean Whittier (sp)....

If any of you good folks ever heard of such a good deal how about
dropping me a line...My friend would like a little support in retrieving his money...sounds dump..it is..but it is true.

Mello
