so MLCO will get a little more for their shares before they kill the price:) mike I think if creaf annouced MLCO is out of shares we would see a boost. found this on a newsgroup thought it was funny After reading these posts for about 6 months here are a few personal comments. I am a musician. Over the years I have bought several pieces of pro audio gear retailing in the thousands of dollars. Note: I am definately not rich. Listening to everyone whine about what features a certain soundcard has or doesn't have when your paying less than $200.00 for a card that is trying to do everything seems very amusing to me. A pro audio digital in/out card can easily cost you over $500.00 and it only does ONE THING! A good sounding midi workstation can easily run anyware from $1000-$3000 and that's not including alot of peripherals, i.e., mixers, dat decks, ect. Even though though the SB Live from a pro audio standpoint is still just a TOY, for under $200.00, (more like $179.00 plus shipping) you people should be kissing Creative Labs ass for producing a cost effective technologically advanced card that does as much as it does for as little as it costs. Also, don't forget all the people making peanut wages,) $5.00 dollars an hour) assembling these cards so you can play your hightech games without having to sell your car just to afford the luxury.
