>I think Clinton needs to be judged in comparison to Roosevelt, >Eisenhower and Kennedy: On his record not his disloyalty to his wife. >In terms of "did you or didn't you?" I would not expect him to tell the >truth. Neither would Elenore, Mamie or Jackie.

You know, I have read everything on the claims about Ike's supposed extracurriculars with his driver. I cannot find any convincing evidence that he actually had an affair with Summersby.

Clinton needs to be judged by the letter of the law. He is not the king and therefore is subject to all the same laws and all the same penalties as you or I regardless of how any individual "feels" about his job performance. Perjury is a felony and in order to uphold The Constitution, Mr.Clinton must be charged and given his day in court.
IMHO the perjury he has committed is much the same as the tax evasion we got Al Capone with, only the tiny tip of the crimes he has committed against us. If or when we have proof of them we can charge him accordingly, until then, we must do as the law prescribes and impeach and indict him.

Or we must make changes in the law to allow future presidents the rights of a king.

Either way, he must be held accountable for the rule of law and our Constitution to survive. Any other response will bind the fate of our children to revolution, as it is the only cure for tyranny.

Sex has nothing at all to do with it and IMO anyone who says it does needs to spend several hours reading our constitution or denounce their citizenship and move to Sudan.
