Slider, The Caspian Sea Area both on- and offshore will be a very big market for oilfield service companies. Right now they are "tiptoing" (Dan Quayle- did I spell that right? Ha!)around local national service companies with very antiquated equipment. Expect mergers or joint ventures which will allow the high tech service companies into the picture. And in addition you need a few outsiders working on the crews since drinking is a serious problem in this part of the world- Vodka in particular....

Oil reserves are large in the Caspian Sea. Pipeline capacity will be the limiting factor on how much oil is produced- a problem that Arab Gulf producers do not face....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
