Richard, I looked it over (the technical page on Maxam's website). Very impressive. It's the kind of stuff that impressed me when I first invested in Maxam over 2 years ago. In sum, I would say that the technical section represents the totality of Hewlett's contribution to Maxam's stunning success. Dale bet heavily on this tech-horse, and I believed in him, too. But the race has been run and so far, that horse is lame. I hope for a different outcome, but as you can tell, I am running low on hope and high on cynicism at this point. I can recover from my financial losses in time. But the feeling of embarrassment over trusting this glib outfit leaves me wondering if I will ever get a grip on the paradoxes of human nature.

In that vein, I offer a (Forrest) Gumpism:
"When a man says 'I want to help you,' grab your wallet and run the other way!" Yup. The nicer they are, the more "integrity" they exude, the higher you turn the volume on your BS alarm, especially when they have their hand in your pocket. I will stop short of quoting Mark Twain's definition of a gold mine (vbg).

Richard, I admire your tenacious optimism. Perhaps it will rub off on me in time. But right now I am a little too busy kicking myself for believing in the guy who authored much of the tech page you referred to. Clark

Mazz,

Have read the tech section over about 5 times...The data is several years old, dates back to 1996...One of the sites Hewlett refers to (Bond Mill site), has not been operable for many years...The assays
are from the peoria 7 mine (old assays)...

IMO a new face on old data.

I can say much more about the site and it's history but don't want to p u off. Hewlett has had it under lease since 1990..The place is in shambles and people have been dismantling it for years..

I only bring it up because he said he has done many tests from there.
