I called Continental Capital this morning and Jim Holton confirmed that the Arroyo Seco job was a CALTRANS error and that we will try to make them cover the costs per written disclaimers. (Downside of course is that we are going to piss them off royally, but I dont see how we can afford to eat this one.) He also said that a tape of the CC will be available tomorrow and I should call him about it. If he wants to play if for me I will probably decline cuz then I would have to sell some stock to cover the phone bill. Finally, his opinion of the huge volume yesterday was a brokerage house (maybe Fahnstock) shorting in hopes that this AS is a serious setback. If I get anything else, you will be the first to know. RS
