Don: your summary of Favors is accurate and your extrapolation even better. I read him as saying that even if we get a pullback there is some rally left, so don't press too hard on the short side just yet! But the Bradly top of 8/24 arrives shortly, and then we will know. --- This is what he seems to be saying. I don't plan to trade today at all. I made good money yesterday and I just want to relax. Frankly, I am a little burnt out from trading. I sold Dell Tuesday for a nice profit and missed what will be the best pop in history. I could die, but thatis is what happens when you trade! My son just holds his Dell (he's 7) and it just keeps going up. Another, new matter. The psychology of the market is amazing. The level of bullishness is, to my mind, amazing. I just cannot believe people continue to pay up for stocks (even Dell!). The fundamentals are so bad. Each night I pull up that Yahoo page that give ad/dec, up/down, and new lows/highs. It looks awful. The psychological turn is coming, I think. Back to the dark side. The semis are a great example! NSM, ADI-- people were bidding these up and the fundamentals stink. Fleckenstein is right about this group as is Kurlak. Thanks for your posts. I owe you lunch (at a minimum!).
