MRI technology is too slow a technology to gait rapid pictures.
The uniqueness of the Rapid CT it can take pictures 1/10th of a second (in between cardiac cycles) to give a clear picture on a moving object. A MRI is a very slow technology in order to give high resolutions. It can't give an accurate view on moving objects, To take large pictures of the chest or brain, occas sedation is required in order for the patient to be completely still.
