William : As one internet bull to another, I find your putting AMZN in thetop 3 quite puzzling. Let me reassure you that I am no bear - I was bitten by shorting YHOO a while ago.
However, AMZN seems to be banking on it's killer status as a retailer.
However, that seems ed entirelyon its ability to handle an inventory of books and work deals with book suppliers/publishers for drop shipments.

I really wonder if they have the core expertise to manage larger amounts of inventory and also the muscle to start retailing other goods which have more entrenched competitors like clothes etc.

BTW : I picked up some RMBS calls - feb calls.

So - in the form of an intellectual challenge : list out the next 6 things that you expect AMZN to go into.

Also - what's your read (ie what's the buzz) on whether AMZN may start selling it's retailing software to others who want to setup shop ?

I personally would put DELL and CSCO ahead of AMZN on any internet portfolio - but you're a better stock picker than I am.
