*AV*--Your accusation is unequivocally untrue and I demand an apology. First, you have no proof and second you are free to fly out here and examine all my records.
If anything, it might have been you trying to protect your investment in ALYD by trying to generate a great deal of retail support for the stock knowing full well there was a possibility of weakness coming. You engaged in an activity unbecoming to the precepts of this thread.
The bulk of the information shared with me led me to believe there was a great deal of margin difficulty that would pop up for certain people if the stock were to drop any lower. At no time did you or others make any attempt to advise either here or on the ALYD thread to be careful.
What I do see is that a run to $12 did take place and that new investors seemed to pick up these shares and are now sitting on close to a $2 loss.
You attack the wrong person here, sir. What I did was to protect my investment like you were doing. I made sure that I would not lose anymore money on my investment until I knew what was going to happen relative to some innuendo. I find it funny that nothing you spoke of took place, and I find it equally offensive that this stock popped up $3 in 3 days(33%) and now has retreated $2 of those $3.
If you must know, after determining that the stock was stable, I switched gears and became the retail buyer you were desperately searching for. I added to my position after seeing my position was protected. Once the stock popped, I exited.
Make no mistake about it Tech Master, I take profits when presented. I also take profits when certain percentage gains are attained in a short amount of time. Yes, I sold ALYD for a 30% profit in a few days. Had any of my other stocks gone up this much in a few days, I would have done the same. I am on record here on numerous occassions that 20% or more gains in a few days will almost always be taken.
If anyone is to be held up to ridicule, it is you and possible others. I feel guilty for not bringing this to the attention of the community sooner but I have been busy on other matters. My expectations (I have not caught up on all my reading on this and the ALYD thread) would be that individuals like yourself would have discussed this openly with the community in such a fashion that no one would get hurt by chasing this stock. Instead, you seem to accuse me of being unethical while my perception is that you allowed a possible pump and dump to occur with ALYD, wittingly and unwittingly.
And if you do recall, I was strongly recommending that ALYD go out and announce a stock repurchase plan as a shoe of confidence in the stock. For reasons still not understood by me, the company was not prepared to invest $3 million as a show of confidence. however, to his credit, the CEO did announce that he intended to take advantage of these low prices to add to his personal portfolio. Bravo, Mr. CEO for doing the right thing and for putting your own money where your mouth is.
I did not try to perpetrate any illegal or immoral situation on any member of this community. I neither encouraged any buying nor did I send out a mass exodus notice to the community. You, on the other hand, were trying to drum up retail support to buoy up the stock which turned out to be unnecessary. Having jumped on the bandwagon myself, why do you begrudge me taking profits according to pre-published principles.
Nothing discussed with me was insider information and my questions were not answered satisfactorily and were somewhat evasive. My perception of the situation was a very massive defensive posture being taken behind the backs of others.
If I owned x,000 shares of ALYD and shorted xx,000 shares, you might have a point. However, if I owned the same x,000 shares and took measures to prevent any further losses on that investment to the tune of the same x,000 shares and then followed up with additional purchases when the scenario presented never materialized, what right do you have to question my judgement and character.
However, when you engage in activities solely directed at generating increased retail demand for the stock, you are doing what every newsletter, hypster, PR firm, scammer, and spammer does to promote a stock. Sometimes this leads to pump and dumps by the shady characters and sometimes it is just to alert people to the attributes of a beaten down company. We call that "in play". ALYD was in play by whatever tactics and means you want to project.
I have laid out all the information for the community to see and comment on. I will always be judged by these individuals and they will draw their own conclusions.
You act as if you made me privy to significant information, when in fact, you did not. You act as if I was given insider information, which I was not. you act as if I did something wrong, which I think I did not. You did not see me trying to promote this stock and to generate support for this stock in an effort to run it up.
You forget, sir, I was the one that came here and laid out all the details on MIPS when it tanked to $10 and explained why it was a good investment and listed everything I had to help people make an informed decision. I also encouraged people to take profits along the way. The stock is presently at $21.25 in less than 2 months. I acted on the information presented to me and inferred by the events transpiring and gave compeeling arguments for this to be considered.
Did you see me doing this for ALYD?? Did you do this for ALYD (I haven't checked so I do not know) I find no differences except that I did not feel comfortable doing the same thing with ALYD. I did not have enough information to present and, frankly, didn't have the time to post here.
I will end with these questions to you. How many people bought ALYD at close to $12 based on anything you were doing behind the scenes or on any SI thread whether directly or indirectly? If you had no intention of buying stock, as I was led to believe, why were you involved in a very defensive and elaborate attempt to buoy the stock up and to bolster retail support of this stock??? You were doing what you felt necessary to protect your investment. I did the same but never went out to convince others of anything (both pro and con) since there were not enough facts and too many unanswered questions.
Personally, like has happened many times before on other threads and with other people, everything was hypothetical and nothing more than rumor. I was not prepared to discuss ALYD on rumor and innuendo alone so I was not going to throw a match haphazardly to see if a flame would ignite. And, by the way, based on the very limited discussions that took place, it was nothing but an unsubstantiated rumor since nothing out of the ordinary occurred this past Monday as you suggested. Therefore, it was a whole new ballgame with just one carry over. I knew you and maybe one other person were attempting to shake the bushes and trees to genrate retail buying interest in the stock.
I will do the same right here. NVLS is trading under #36 and is an exceptional buy even in the face of yesterday's book to bill. I am convinced we are experiencing an Options Manipulation this week and that the possibility of seeing $40 prior to the next options expiry date is very good. This is a possible 10%er in a month. You know the risks since I have laid out the Book to Bill issue today and you know the market mentality.
Tech Master, I do things above board and not behind anyone's back. your comments are rude and ignorant. I thought we had a good open relationship but I guess I was wrong. Any issue you had with me could have be taken off line and discussed prior to posting here by any method of communication you desired. Instead you came out and attacked my character at a time I am trying to start a business enterprise and with full knowledge that I always print negative stuff when I receive it privately and discuss it in the open forum here.
You do yourself a great injustice and the members of this community a grave disservice by your post to me. Considering my response is way longer that your short but hurtful comments, I leave the door open for you to flame away at me. I will not respond to it or engage in further discussions on this subject since I have nothing more to add. you on the other hand could easily explain and outline everything you think took place and what your intentions were.
