Did you see the Scientific American article about the head of Perkin Elmer's sequencing work? It was kind of an interesting profile. Don't know whether I can link to it for free -- going to check.

To All, Is there anyone fooled by this cynical bombing of Afghanistan and The Sudan? "Gee, Hil, ya think if I bomb two countries that basically have no governments, and look Presidential doing it, that folks will stop asking me about BimboGate?"

I often call myself a liberal, though few liberals agree. I voted for Clinton. Twice. But enough is too much. Yes, there are terrorists in these countries. Heck, there are loads of them in Montana, too. The timing and the targets seem a wee bit too convenient for anyone with his eyes open.

Yes, if we discover the terrorists who blew up the embassys, we should take action. I would volunteer to take some of it. But to kill people and risk American lives as a misdirection play bugs the hell out of me.
