The Wall Street Journal (8/20/98)

NEW YORK --

-- A bull took a big position in Newmont Mining Corp. calls in anticipation
that the company's sagging stock price will increase after setting a 52-week
low of 16 7/16 last week. The stock closed up 11/16 at 17 11/16. (Page
C13)

Cumulative total was just over 10,000 contracts, mainly in Sept 17 1/2 and
Sept 20 calls. Equivlent of 1 million shares.

Here is what I found on MSFT Investor about NEM inside trading.

8-4-98 CAMBRE RONALD C purchased 10,000 shares off.-dir.
8-5-98 MURDY WAYNE W purchased 1,750 shares off.
8-6-98 SCHMITT TIMOTHY J purchased 400 shares off.
