Bob,

You stole my point.

But before I re-affirm yours, let me just say I've been lurking on this thread for awhile. Let me add that last night I read through the last hundred posts and also was impressed with quality of many of the comments and DD.

Many OTC's seem not to learn the effectiveness of good PR until they've made a few mistakes.

Even when management hires IR firms, they don't seem to follow their IR firm's advice.

Now PINC, like so many other OTC companies, had news that they couldn't contain themselves from sharing. They couldn't openly state what the news was but they alluded to it. Such allusions to "news" created expectations as to the time and content of the release of this news. For reasons beyond their control, the news was delayed. Then in an effort to not seem deliquint to expectations they release "almost" news.

IMO the "almost" news is tainted and seems more so because the information they can't publically state, they privately disclose.
The final release of the news has an impact, but not as much of an impact as it would have had.

Again IMO, PINC should have never fueled speculation. Any questions about the ISP or other issues that couldn't be discussed until the appropriate should have been answered with the words "we neither confirm or deny that information". Such a response would have deterred the need to adhere to an artificial and market generated schedule.

Just my analysis of what I felt transpired since the 8/13 release

Think of it what you will.
