Peter,

Watch for Sept. calls...Last month, the Aug.calls during the stated period were the driving forces behind the $145 surge...

As of now, I do not see much Sept. calls at all!! Aug. calls will expire tomorrow, not Sept calls....

Any serious squeeze will be generated by Sept. calls from here,...let's watch for them!!

Yes, even us bears can admit that AMZN has shown amazing strength. However, you'll notice that news that should affect the stock price doesn't.

Competitors are entering the market. No problem, AMZN goes up.
Analysts downgrade the stock. No problem, AMZN goes up.
Analysts lower the estimates. No problem, AMZN goes up.

This is a tell-tale sign of a stock whose price is not linked to fundamentals or conventional market logic. It means that people buying this stock are not analyzing the stock in terms of the reality of the market or in terms of the financial prospects of the company.

The market has the name for this kind of performance -- bubble.

It can't last forever. As HJ says, "Trust me".
