Another big write up on Cisco in Fortune magazine. This in their latest 9/7/98 issue, the one with the picture of a pig on the cover.
Onepoint made is that so far Cisco can't make a product that can handle voice and video, and that Lucent and Nortel have the same problem. Thinks that the next 10 years is going to be hard for CSCO, because the competition is entrenched , are much larger, and have long term relations with phone companies.

Great day today for Cisco.

Only a buck and change, but in the face of a down market, and an options expiration with a whole lot of open interest around and under 100, it's amazing to be in positive territory.

Soon as we break into new highs over 104 all overhead supply will be gone and all we'll have left is profit takers. And we're building off a very sound base. Very nice going into the split, hope it continues to run up after the split to not quite double, but 2/3's our pleasure anyways.
