Alex,

<<She loves to sit on my sternum when I'm lying down - that way her feet are on the ground.>>

Soon she'll learn to stand on your sternum. then to double knee-drop on it. Which is still fun.

I have an empty room with a floor covered with 4" high density foam mattresses, where we wrestle. The kids love it, though it's occasionally difficult for me to keep up. Joey, my 8 year old, is getting to the point where he doesn't realize quite how large he's gotten. He tries to do things he did when he was 4 - like jumping from the guava tree onto my shoulders - and I haven't the heart to tell him that it no longer works quite the same way. If truth be told, I like it too - though I doubt I will for much longer.

Brought a new sea kayak home yesterday, paddling it out of the freeport zone to avoid the evil taxes. It's only a one seater, but Joey immediately figured out that he'll fit quite neatly in the rear cargo hatch. Looks like further adventures of the tired papa, chapter... can't count them any more.
