Hi Mike,

In previous posts, you seem to be saying that you expect interest rates to rise. I agree that there is rampant asset inflation...but everything else seems to point to deflation (asia for instance). There was rampant real estate inflation in HK but the markets seem to have dealt with that. What am I missing here that would cause the need for higher rates?

Steve

MB - C'mon Mike. You're really ascribing "normal morality" to Tricky and Slick? They earned their nicknames long before that tune was directed at them.

MB & all. Do you follow Mr. Pink? He is fun to follow on SI for the entertainment value alone. I've been following his posts on various accounting scams and his accuracy is to be respected. Don't worry MB, I still consider you more humorous than Mr. Pink.

If a disturbing rally in CPQ should get you down, just visit the web page below on CNET. The link reveals that CPQ momentum geeks aren't paying attention...again.

Finding this link really cheered up my morning :-)

"Consumer Alert has received so many letters from Compaq users, we felt obliged to take a closer look."

"Jami Jolliff says about Compaq, "We lease Compaq computers at the company where I work and have had endless troubles."

Mike, GENZL is trading at 3 3/4 after breaking below 4 yesterday. Since you're in Texas, have you heard anything about the outcome from the skin graft GENZL made on that Texas boy that was burned over his entire body except for the bottoms of his feet? I thought he was from Houston.

Regards,
Bob
