Hi Joseph, I'm no fan of Ken Starr's tactic's either. And your're right that Monica was a willing participate. But, clearly Bill was able to use his power and position to his advantage in this relationship with an employee. I still can't beleive the feminists groups are sitting still for this. My opinion only, Bill is a selfish, self-absorbed individual who thinks only of himself, except when giving a speech or in front of a camera. All politicians have faults, but in my opinion his mistakes are inexcusable. Any other CEO in the US would be summarily dismissed from his job.

Have a good day.

Mark

If I hear another person allude to Monica being a slut, I'm going to blow my cork.

Calling Monica a "willing participant" is calling her a slut. Let's say for the sake of argument that she is. The logical conclusion would therefore be that it's okay for a US president to receive felatio- in violation of his marriage vows- in the Oval Office for seven months as long as the "felating" party is a slut. Please.

Ye Gads, taping your friends, making private conversations public and then a prosecutor using the tapes and notes as evidence.

Did we criticize the person who taped Rodney King? I don't believe any one of us would be at all comfortable if someone we considered our friend was repeatedly pushing us to lie to a Grand Jury, especially if our friend just happened to be a "close, personal" friend of the Prez or the 1st Lady. Those folks are, let me put this politely, single-minded in pursuing their goals. (A few of their political operatives could confirm that statement.) Remember OJ? Seemed like only a tape of the act could have convicted him. We have all learned that the only way we can prove what we say, and protect ourselves and our family from potential harm, is to have it on tape. Sad, but true.
