Keep an eye on DCHT. They are also a Ballard competitor.

ERC has very large fuel cells for utilities, not cars. Also ERC fuel cells do not require hydrogen, and they have been operated from several different fuels - natural gas, etc. I think ERC will be a very formidable competitor for utility power and maybe marine power which I believe will occur soon. Ballard is ahead in fuel cells for vehicles but these may not appear competitive with other technologies for many years to come, if ever. MKTY is building fuel cells for homes so homeowner can generate own electricity at a fraction of the cost from utility companies. There are many other players - United Technologies,Westinghouse, ASRF, and MHTX.
