Hi Aj,
I too have followed this stock and thread for some time. I have traded the stock in the past and even contemplated holding for the long term but liquidated at about 14 on the way up to 19 after actually using wavetop for a few days. I find it surprising that the bulls on this board talk up wavetop like its the greatest but I question whether these people actually use the program. As I have stated in the past I feel there are several drawbacks to the current wavetop.
1) Content is fair but often only superficial entry points into the web sites are transmitted over VBI requiring an internet connection to go deeper into the content.
2) Since the current wavetop essentially requires an ISP connection, I would argue that in time people would still use the ISP rather than Wavetop to actively go to their favorite sites. This is especially true with unlimited (untimed) internet accounts.
3) The use of web tv, intercast, and wavetop in WIN 98 is relatively complicated to the novice PC user. Wavetop cannot run while the other two are operating.

IMO, for wavetop to be successful we need greater content and depth over higher VBI bandwidth.
Internet accounts need to cost more and become "timed".
Ultimately if we are moving towards cable modems and adsl in which there is a constant connection to the net, why do we need wavetop? THe assumption must be that cable and adsl will represent a small percentage of users for years to come. I don't know.

I would like to hear from more actual users of wavetop on this thread.

Presently I have no position in wavo because of the above concerns. I also don't know enough about their other divisions to make an informed investment decision. I do wish the company the best of luck.
