Absolutly, plus not everyone is going to want to hold this stock forever, so if we lay a foundation and gradually work our way up to every ones exit price, we can hold near that price as folks exit... as opposed to everyone bolting for the door at once, then causing a mass collapse in the price. That way we can let the short term guys do their thing with out hurting the long term folks.
