Clint, They did not talk about the health of the cable industry in general only Media One. It looks like Media One liked ADCT's Home Worx product (voice over cable). They passed the trial with flying colors and expect to see 5 or 6 request for deployment before the end of the year. By the way TLAB won a trial in Florida with their Cablespan product for a site in Florida yesterday from Media One. ADCT expected this as Media One has been up front about having multiple suppliers. As far as I know from the ORTL conference call, orders from TCI the biggest cable company have start to flow again. The AT&T merger with TCI has had a positive short term effect. I am not sure about the long term if you believe to the editorial in this months issue of Telecommunications magazine. Only a small portion of TCI's cable infrastructure in two way. There is an interesting article about the overstatment of the amount of data traffic over voice traffic in the issue. See your next week.
