Many of the former leading semi equipment companies are trading below book value Off the top of my head, in addition to BRKS, SVGI and LRCX are also below book; others that are below or nearly below book include MTSN and EGLS. And, I'm confident that this list could probably be doubled without looking too hard. There's been a bear market in these sectors for over a year now. FWIW, Ian.

OTOT I'll have to add The Donald's empire, DJT, to that list! Book value is $12.76 and I just hogged down another chunk today at $4.5!!! Worries about proliferation of gaming in the region and the outcome of a new financing strategy have depressed this one. They have DuescthBank pumping some $$$ in to refi 11%+ notes. Can you imagine what would happen to this puppy if they succeed at aggressively reducing the cost of carrying $1.8 billion on the books by just 2 or 3 points! Actually, I think The Donald is about to surprise us with another deal worthy of a book! If he doesn't have any ideas now, for a small consulting fee, I would love to have a sit down!:-) For starters, can you say DISNEY!?! Call me babe... $tar. ps. Kiriakos, small world...I just installed new strut towers on my Carrera Cabrio...along with numerous other upgrades including a B&B TriFlow stainless steel header and exhaust system, 17" BBS LM rims, and some PPHHHAAATTT "S-02 PolePosition" rubber! I FEEL THE NEED, THE NEED FOR SPEED!!!
