There was an article on news.com for 2 minutes and then disappeared.
What it said was AMZN lost $2 per customer and more per new customer.
It was gone before I could post it!1
All the best!

Naw, The B&N.com IPO is not a spin-off, just an interesting idea/strategy. Do you think anyone would buy it if they were just going to set it totally free? Get real folks.

IPO 10 or 20% of the e-commerce.com.bullshit and get a nice pop in BKS stock due to the majority ownership if the market is still as crazy about anything with .com at the end of its name. Or, as everyone sees through this ploy, reality hits and AMZN gets wacked on its stock price and the consequences cause AMZN a few problems. I think it is a great idea and whoever thought of it should get a nice Christmas bonus!

BKS is going after AMZN and will do anything it takes to keep the upstart bleeding red. Along with a lot of other folks.

Regards, IS
