rydex now has sector funds - i dont know how they operate them - call 1-800-820-0888 to find out.

not sure if they buy underlying equities of indices or they screen the companies that their moves most co-relate to the sector index -

nancy, i have always lost when i diversify too much. so i want to reduce my holdings to few stocks and put rest in the mutual funds or spy.

I don't get it. You don't want to diversify too much, so you invest in mutual funds? Mutual funds are the epitome of diversification.
