So during the late '80's and early '90's when the quality and price gap between American-made and Japanese-made was wide, instead of forcing the Big Three to shape up by buying Japanese, they encouraged continued apathy by buying American. Sometimes the best thing for a company you love is to turn your back on it when it's misbehaving. Don't let them take you for granted. Andrew
