Re: "Perhaps you can tell me why you hate AMD. "

A reasonable question. It's a matter of character. Jerry's to be specific. If you are an AMD employee(no need to answer) you are not the target. Jerry runs this company for his own ends with no regard for the shareholders. He has enriched himself and returned nothing to those who have footed the bill. Shareholders have bent over and grabbed their ankles for years, so they are to some extent responsible as well. Therefore IMO this is not a company to invest in but a trading stock. Those who don't see Jerry for what he is are IMO fools who deserve the screwing they get.

Maxy,
If AMD produced 1.2M K6's on the .25u in previous, what is the likelihood of them tripling their production in the following Q.

So given the downturn in the semi busisness (NSM and LSI warnings), and steep price reductions in the Celeron and PentiumII and corresspondingly on the K6's, its becoming clear that without some "creative" accounting, AMD will have to "rework" their covenents with their creditors.

What will this do to the stock price?
