What differentiates Sun is that they have a solid customer base, almost a market niche. Amazon is very open to competition, while Sun products make up a sizeable portion of the Internet's infrastructure.
AOL and YHOO can easily suffer from competition also. As long as the Internet is growing, you *will* see growth in Sun, Cisco and (I hate it, but it's true), Microsoft.

Earnings growth at Sun is impressive, but if you value a company based on earnings growth alone, you're making a big mistake. You want to make sure you still see those earnings 5 years from now too.
