Anybody out there have some news about iMac delivery dates to education? Like, "my school ordered x units in July and we've been told we'll get them on x date?"

Marc,

I don't have any overall figures, but I can tell you that I ordered an iMac from UC Santa Cruz for one of my daughters about August 7th and she went and picked it up on the 17th. I ordered another one from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA for another daughter around the 15th, and she was told yesterday that it should be available early next week.

BTW, add to that a G3 233 I got at CompUSA last week for another family member, and that makes three Apple computers from a 'first-time' buyer (not counting the Apple II+ I got as a first computer a long, long time ago).
