Do you ever think silent daytraders also enter a stock when they see a volume trend? Just a thought.

Ask TMex. He makes a living on that strategy (g).

You know what's also a blast. Say you have a few hundred thousand shares of a stock you got really cheap. You know, the type you get if you are good at finding shells for reverse mergers. Then just before news comes out you buy and sell, buy and sell, buy and sell... the same shares at a slightly higher price each time. It's really neat to see the volume increase and the price go up, but it's even more fun to see how the price really starts to move when the daytraders step in and buy. Then everyone gets all tingly inside thinking news is coming and, lo and behold, out it comes and then Joe Bagholder and friends buy like crazy. Meanwhile you just sell sell sell and laugh laugh laugh all the way to the bank. Of course I don't do that; that would be unethical. I'm sure you don't do that either, right?
