DJ,

"Just made me want to bite and scratch and scream (english) obscenities."

We are amazed at how many Europeans kids use two english words in their common dialog: "OK" and "shit". We export the best of our culture, don't we? I still prefer "verseichter Chaib" which manages to roll so much image into two words. (I drove a truck one summer in Switzerland when I was younger, and you had to learn how to express your opinion.)

a bientot,

Marc

RE:" Flog the Swag "

They dub all the shows in Germany - weirdest of all is the soul-bro CopShows on German TV. MadameGonzo and I saw the wag film in Paris, where they have the good sense to have "French" dubbed versions and, "Version Originale" with text-only French subtitles. The audience filed out of the Cinema Odeon and went across the street to grab deux espress and talk about the film, so we tagged along to listen-in. Most of them thought the film had something to do with France. It's an American Plot, to interfere with French Culture, they said. Nevermind - they say the same thing about almost all American films. Except Woody Allen. They love Woody Allen. Probably because he's not from America, he's from New York City.

BTW, went flat the EuroWEBS yesterday when the DAX fell through 5500. Austria was particularly hard-hit, DJ - and hardly bounced at all. France and Italy bounced the best.
